ISECT is the only body representing the perfusion community all over India and is a member of international perfusion/extra corporeal clinical Perfusionist association community. ISECT is the only body to give us Identification as "PERFUSIONIST".

ISECT was holding joint annual conferences along with Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (IACTVS) till year 2000. Since 2001 the annual conferences are being held independently. A steady economic growth led the association to stay on its feet.
